NOVEMBER 22 IS THE NEXT MEETING DATE

The Black Gold Optimist Club of Leduc will meet again on Thursday November 22, 2012 at Smitty's Restaurant Leduc. Those wanting to personally order and eat should arrive at 7:00 PM, or earlier, with the regular meeting scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

Prospective new volunteer members and guests are welcome to attend our meetings. Our only criteria is a desire to help youth and community.

November 22nd is the 49th anniversary of the death of U.S. President John F Kennedy who was quoted to say: "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try."

President Ray will be away and Vice-President Denise will chair the meeting.

Optimists attend meeting at Sea.  Lions, Rotary, and SurOptimists also attended.

That time is approaching again, with our next regular meeting to be held on Thursday, November 8th in Smitty's Restaurant Leduc. Members wanting to personally order food and dine, should arrive at 7:00 PM (or earlier) with the actual meeting to start at 7:30 PM.
Continue thinking about matters for discussion.

Potential new members and/or guests are welcome to attend.

NOTE: The Zone 5 first quarter meeting has been announced as hosted by the St. Albert clubs.
The date is Sunday November 18th starting at 1:00 PM.   (update:  Zone Meeting Postponed to January).  The location is the St. Albert Seniors Club at #7 Tache Street (across from the St. Albert Legion).
