Seven Leduc Optimist Club members attended the September 13th meeting, bringing personal donations of school supplies for use by the Leduc Food Bank distribution program. A club cash donation cheque in the amount of $200.00 was also made up to enable the purchase of required, but not donated, school supplies at the Food Bank. A supply of non-perishable food items was also brought to the meeting. THANKS to all who donated.

Since a representative was not able to be present at our meeting, a club member delivered the items to the Food Bank on Monday, September 17, 2012.
There were 29 pounds of school supplies and 93 pounds of food items, plus the $200.00 cash cheque.

Appreciation was expressed by the Leduc Food Bank.
