DONATIONS to FOOD BANK and SANTA'S HELPER TOY PROJECT
THANKS to our club members for bringing a total of 123 lbs of food items as a donation plus a great assortment of new toys for the Santa's Helper project in Leduc. Gert Reynar from the Leduc Food Bank was on hand at the December 8th Leduc club meeting to accept the items.
Many THANKS to Gert and her associates for the good work they do in the community.
There will be NO meeting on December 22nd due to the proximity to Christmas.
The next regular meeting of the Leduc club will be held on Thursday January 12th, 2012 at Smitty's Restaurant, Leduc. Those who want to eat arrive at 7:00pm, or earlier, with the actual meeting to start at 7:30pm. All members are encouraged to attend. Guests and prospective new members are welcome.
